Jaco-Ben holds both his undergraduate and master´s degrees in industrial engineering from the University of Pretoria (South Africa). He is a director of simulation and technology, passionate about solving seemingly complex problems with simple solutions and teaching others how to do the same.

Jaco-Ben is co-founder of The AnyLogic modeler, a blog covering AnyLogic simulation modeling.
